On day 1 at the pool you can purchase refreshments and a light lunch if necessary, though we suggest you simply have a good breakfast at your hotel beforehand.
Spend days 2 & 3 on full day trips, on big comfortable boats, to the Racha or Phi Phi Islands, including: breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages and refreshments.
Shorter (2 dive) speedboat trips may also be available, which include a light lunch, fresh fruits, water and soft drinks.
Drinking water is provided on the beach diving option. You can either bring snacks or buy yourself lunch at the beach-side restaurant if your hotel breakfast isn’t sufficient.
Patong Dive Center’s instructors follow PADI’s well developed training standards to make obtaining your first full diving license both safe and fun.
We keep the groups small, usually just 2 Open Water Course students with 1 instructor, though friends & family may have a higher ratio for extra discount, and we only use the best dive gear.
With us, you can organize a flexible schedule for your PADI Open Water Course, with days off in-between, or even reschedule should needs arise.

The PADI Open Water license allows you to dive to 18m (12m for ages 10+11) but if you sign up with Patong Dive Center‘s Open Water + Advanced package, you can get certified down to 30m in a total of only 4 days! (21m for ages 12-14 years).
And you may be able to get your Open Water PADI diving license in only 2 days if you’ve already done Discover Scuba Diving.

We take time with you during your pool training, so that you are well prepared to go diving in the sea. Remember that you’ll be learning to dive independently of an instructor and you should find diving with your buddy is easy.
