Things that beginners should know about scuba diving in Phuket
As beginners scuba diving in Phuket, you’ll probably be flying out once your stay in Phuket ends. So, being first-time divers, there are some things that you should know.
Once you’ve learned about breathing with a regulator and learned how to equalize your ears & air spaces for the water pressure, diving is easy!
Although you may need a little time to adjust for being underwater, our instructors will also take you through a few basic skills required to dive a little deeper – down to a maximum depth of 12m – although you can still enjoy Phuket’s reefs and marine life even when staying much shallower!
Please be kind to the reefs! Enjoy your diving but please also take care to protect the environment. Only use reef friendly sunscreen, don’t throw rubbish into the sea and please don’t feed or touch marine life.
